A conference for principals, policy makers, heads of curriculum, administration heads and teachers from all sectors within the region to explore the challenges associated with shifting the way we traditionally think about education.

This conference will focus on the rationale for change, leadership for change and provide strategies for successfully managing change.

The conference will cover the following themes:

• Building capacity – leading change
• Welcoming the challenge– embracing and managing change
• Making it happen in the classroom – strategies for 21st century learning

Delegates will be provided with working solutions for whole school development and classroom innovations.  Delegates will leave with a vision for the future, inspired by the potential of dynamic learning environments and engaged students.

Keynote Speakers:
Inspirational educators and presenters from abroad and the UAE including Professor Yong Zhao, Dr Andrew Curran, Dr David Warner and Roy Leighton will discuss the global education perspective, leading change in schools, how the human brain engages & learns and the urgent need to develop creative and resilient learners.

Breakout sessions:
A choice of more than 40 workshops which support and explore the conference themes will be available for delegates. Workshops will be led by the Keynote speakers and leading practitioners.

Accommodation and venue

The conference will be held at the Hilton Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.   The Hilton Al Ain is approximately 90 minutes from both Dubai and Abu Dhabi airports.
