Carin Taylor, Deputy Principal at Prince William School,
visited Chile from 29 May - June 2 to share with colleagues
the theory and practice of assessment for learning.
The tour included the cities of Santiago, Concepción and
Puerto Montt. It also unexpectedly coincided with nationwide
student mobilization around topics of equity and quality. While
these events turned Carin’s visit into a happening, the
participants in her acclaimed seminars and workshops highlighted
the relevance of her contribution – and those of other iNet
speakers - to the crisis hitting Chilean
education.
Attached are Dr Taylor’s presentations, which will form the basis
for a jointly produced toolkit.
