SSAT’s 2009 National Conference takes place on the cusp of the next decade, in the midst of a rapidly changing national and international context. To prepare our young people for the future they will face, we need to imbue them with an understanding of the global employment market. Schools will play a crucial role in equipping students with the talent and skills to survive in this new world order. It is therefore an opportune moment to think through the challenges laid down for education and the next steps for school-led transformation. Confirmed speakers so far include: • Thomas L.
