Members of iNet are invited to the 2007 SSAT National Conference. This year's event will explore how students, teachers and school leaders are seizing opportunities for sustaining our future.
The five strands running through the three-day programme will be:
Innovative forms of schooling that encourage students’ engagement in deep learning alongside raising achievement.
Best and developing practice in sustainability across three areas of school life: curriculum, campus (values and ways of working, including the development and management of school buildings) and community.
Strategies and tools for achieveing the best outcomes for students, and by which they can remain successful in the long term.
Examples of excellence in which students learn by taking the lead in tackling local and global sustainability and ethical issues. The emphasis will be on innovative ideas that build on schools’ specialisms.
How school leaders are working to redesign the education system for the future.
