This heavily-subsidised conference has been designed to allow school leaders and teachers in Wales to come together and discuss the 14 – 19 reform programme. The proposed 14-19 legislation, the consultation on ‘Skills That Work for Wales’ and the independent Webb Review are all evidence of the growing importance of the 14 – 19 phase. But what does this mean for schools in Wales? This major conference will provide a timely opportunity to reflect on these and other issues.
Through a combination of keynote sessions and school showcases this conference is an opportunity to share best practice from both Wales and England. The day includes the following sessions:

Through group discussions you can engage in action planning around the 14 – 19 agenda. This will include highlighting some of the challenges that schools may face and the strategies that can be used to overcome these including the need to build strategic collaboration.
You will leave the conference having considered the further development of your own strategy and operational practices and share ideas and experiences with other schools and educators.
