INCA provides descriptions of government policy on education in Australia, Canada, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the USA and Wales. It focuses on curriculum, assessment and initial teacher training frameworks for pre-school, primary, lower secondary and upper secondary education in schools (3-19 age range). A description for South Africa is under development.
The INCA website is funded by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) in England. Content is managed by the Eurydice Unit for England, Wales and Northern Ireland at the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER). The initial teacher training sections are funded by the Training and Development Agency for Schools (TDA).

- A thematic probe examining the regulation of examinations and qualifications in other countries was uploaded to this website in July 2008. Data was collected in autumn 2007.

- INCA comparative tables updated
- The INCA Comparative Tables provide a brief overview of key issues across the Archive countries. They were updated in July 2008, when a new table covering the organisation of the school year and school day was also added.

- The new French Socle Commun
- The Socle Commun - the new fundamental core of knowledge and skills around which the curriculum for compulsory education is built - was introduced in September 2008. See the curriculum sections of the France INCA Archive for more information.
