Digital art is a great way to introduce children to using computers, as well as being a valuable skill in itself. iNet is now helping primary schools to develop these skills and to collaborate internationally at the same time.
Pupils from primary schools in Australia and the UK have been using the tutorials on iNet's Working with Windows Paint toolkit to create a variety of artwork. They have then been sharing and commenting on each other's work using the Paintpals online art gallery.
Eventually, pupils in different countries will work together to create a piece of collaborative art.
Teachers also have access to online support from Dave and Ann.
The Paintpals project was set up to support schools and teachers using the Working with Windows Paint toolkit. Participating schools also need to be affiliated to iNet, but could be in any country.
